Getting started with Remote Play on PC or Mac
Using the PS Remote Play app, you can control your PlayStation®5 console or PlayStation®4 console from a PC or Mac connected to a high-speed network. Check your PC or Mac meets the requirements and then follow the steps below to set up Remote Play.
On your console. Press the Xbox button on your controller to open the guide. Go to Profile & system Settings Devices & connections Remote features. Check the box to enable remote features. Under Power mode, select Instant-on. Note If your console power mode isn’t set to Instant-on, remote play won’t work. If you want to play Microsoft Xbox games on your Mac there are two easy ways to do so on your desktop. But unlike Sony’s PS4 Remote Play, Microsoft’s streaming service isn’t officially supported on Mac, leaving Xbox One gamers out in the cold if they run macOS or OS X.
